Oh yeah, Bill hasn’t been there for a while.  He also has a job to do and does it again.  Silly me I did it again, hiding a character and hoping nobody notices.  Also noticing some emotions here.  Getting a real “end of the chapter” vibes here.  In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ll be wrapping it up so far.  Resolutions, setups, things happening – these are the things that could happen.  We’ll find out and more next week!

I wonder how many people have just tried to walk up and say hi to Kyra without going full conspiracy mode…. We haven’t seen Zeke the Pet Store Lizard guy in a while. Wonder if he’s on good terms with Kyra….

At the beginning everybody was gathering around politely and taking pictures, so normal people probably happen all the time. Ah yes, Zeke. There’s a few small time characters like him who could use a “where are they now” at some point. We’re still going through the main characters though so it’ll have to be something random like Paul’s old boss as the store.

Kyra is doing a good job of staying calm while Kay might be pulling at her feathers.

I like the detail of the broken door handle from Bill, uh, “utilizing governmental privileges” his way in. What’s the sign say in the camera room? “Bathroom camera is ???? so don’t look at it. DO look at ???? ???? ????”

Kyra’s tough, she can handle someone doing some feather pulling. I recall the chapter Ann is introduced – there was that lumberjack’s kid who was annoying Kyra by poking her right in the eye. I’d say Kyra would make a nice pillow but it sounds like her feathers are rather coarse despite their fluffiness. That’s what friends are for though!

As for that sign it says –

WARNING
Bathroom camera is illegal, so don’t look at it
DO look at the fitting room …

I can’t believe I didn’t notice the broken door handle on first reading. Good ol’ Bill, taking charge. And then making those mall cops sweat.
I would hope that a store labeled “Junk 4 Suckars” would not get a lot of customers, but then again . . .
So Kay wanted Kyra to say mean things to people. She is so angry and frustrated and wants to lash out at them through Kyra. Aww that last panel.

“Yes, I too knew they had it saved” aka Kyra saying I did not have to slice them.

tension between Bill and the Guard. Intense, even though Bill is clearly in a higher league.

And awww these last 4 panels are so darn precious. Kay is feeling bad for her behavior ( which is not half as bad of a reason than I anticipated. why do I always expect the worst? ) And Kyra is like:
Yeah, I know. Love you, though.
Leading to a perfectly bittersweet Sadface in the last panel. Yeah, I will read these pages a lot.
