Chapter forty-eight is here and it’s called cookout!  Wait, didn’t I have one like that already?  Hmmm nope!  The one I’m thinking of was called “outdoors” but also had a picture of Kyra and a grill.  She and this comic have come a long way since then.  In fact, I remember when I started the comic almost twelve years ago I wondered – would I still be making it by a certain date and how would it be doing? Well that date is here and I can at least answer the first question with yes, I’m still making it.  I especially enjoyed last month were I got to spend most of it doing nothing but work on it.

In good news I finally got around to fixing the SSL on this site so there shouldn’t be broken images or bad site alerts anymore.  There’s still some big bugs but they’re all on my end and there’s ways around them.  What was confusing me is my server host provides an SSL.  Turns out I just needed a plug-in.  Well how about that!

Anyway, I’ve been doing a lot of doodling between writing the next chapter and I felt like sharing some this time.  They’re of Kyra and Ann.  They’re my favorites.  I wonder if they’ll show up in this next chapter at all?  Maybe it’ll just be about Hank Hill selling propane.  There, I made the joke I tell you Hwat.
