So yeah, one of the great parts about making a comic is coming up with characters you love … then finding excuses to draw them.  It’s so much more exciting than just drawing pictures.  I also enjoyed when coming to these pages I was all “oh yes we know Kyra wouldn’t like gemstones and why!”  Watches are different though.  She can be impressed by some of our technical achievements … when they’re not computers that think for us and try to destroy everything.  I do like the idea of Kyra wearing a bunch of watches on each wrist because she finds them interesting.  However we can also assume that Kyra has no need for understanding human’s stubborn concept of time so in the end she wouldn’t.

Hmm, well … another great part about these characters you love and draw is if it DOESN’T fit into the comic you can just draw it anyway as an aside.  I should find time (heh) to draw watch Kyra.  Until then I’ll see you all next week!
