Ann just wants to be Ann but the cowardly world is all “maybe tone it down to 50% Ann or something.”

…”wild” clowns, ????
I guess if they’re part of a circus they’d be considered “domesticated?” Oh the life stages of a clown are too disturbing to put this much thought into!
No, see, clowns are just domesticated mimes
So in this case, “wild” clowns would be “feral”
I seem to have missed it with the oversized dinosaur hoodie and all, but Ann seems to have developed some… assets.
She was indeed wearing an oversized dinosaur hoodie making it hard for us (and everyone around her) to notice. Whether they’re an asset, liability, or non-factor to her is still up in the air. Although few pages ago she mentioned learning to sew so she could adjust her clothing, so there’s that.
Doesn’t anybody have time for poor Kyra? sniff
Allow me to be somewhat blunt.
*Ahem*
Ann got hot. The only thing I don’t care for are the tattoos, and that’s just a personal taste thing. (Though, I honestly do like the Splatoon design. Very creative.) Shame she’s getting unwanted attention, though I guess that’s just how it goes when you’ve got something of value.
It’s what I was going for so it’s good to know it worked out. I had it be the last reveal so we got to know everything else about her first, even it just being a footnote for the tattoo reveal. The other things in her life are more important to her.
Some great potential for future stories too beyond your example too, especially between her social elite wannabe parents and her best friend not even being a mammal.
Oh, good. I was trying to be subtle with my “assets” comment, but if that’s what you were going for then yeah. It worked out.
Heh, don’t worry I got what you meant. Among all her odd quirks and traits she’s an attractive woman too. It’s another important part of her character and BFF Kyra. I’ve never designed a character like this before so that itself was a unique challenge.
I have to say. I love absolutely everything about this page. The way ann sits in the first panel. Her lipbiting.
Concerned tatoo artist. Handy panel revealing plans with Kyra not working out (Sadest) Review of the day with Lenore. Especialy the “Just don’t break yourself along the way” got me. With how ann views her family, it seems like she found herself another one.( Or a additional one mind you) Just these few panels reveal a lot of the relationship they have.
Also that last panel xD
Ann seems to have elarned a thing or two about selfdefense from Kyra. And teddybear guy is showing that you do not mess with bears while lenore is holding +1 bat for good measure!
Ann is certainly a complicated character with a strange life. But I guess as long as she has her Kyra it will be okay?
