Ah, nothing like a whole bunch of facts about this world to make it feel more alive! But are some callbacks? Foreshadowing? Red herrings? I’m not sure why I’m asking because I’m certainly not going to answer outside the comic itself! … well now this is all awkward. I guess we’ll find out as I make this comic over the next decade. Eh, let’s forget all about it and turn to our current adventure which may or may not involve a mall. Another week another set of pages indeed!

Honestly, it’s not that surprising she can go. They’re not holding her prisoner. The compound seems to be more for the peoples’ peace of mind and to try and keep Kyra safe from these foreign powers. And Canada.
I’m pretty exited to see Kyra out and about with her current celebrity status.
I’d kinda like to see an April 1st episode of Kyra in Canada Land so we can see everyone be polite at her, eh.
Yeah, it does seem like Kyra mostly stays there because they give her good food and Paul is happy when she remains in the facility most of the time, or at least she doesn’t get caught outside of it.
Senator Gonfast, huh … with that name he’s either got to have the personality of Sonic the Hedgehog or it’s being implied he’s not going to be in office for very long…
Perhaps he got elected simply because of an amazing campaign slogan – “Mr. Gonfast is GOING FAST to Washington!”
I almost dare not ask what the Europe think/are like about Kyra in this universe.
Perhaps hoping for a dino tour.
I’m sure they would love it with only Kyra herself being more excited. But I suspect they’re busy trying to keep things sane in their country first before bringing her to another one for foreign shenanigans.
I am really looking forward to these inevitable hijinks at the mall.
Huh I wonder what happened to General Stoar?
Missed his out-of-touch comedic chops, but this General is more in-vibe with current stuffs, which I can dig. Sort of like reasonable yet cool uncle?
Based on what this new general says in the first panel, this would appear to be a whole other branch of the government. Stoar was in charge of the “lock away the secret things we find to study” division, and Ideya seems to be in charge of the “I guess a dinosaur lives here” operation. Both are still crazy in different ways.
I kinda want to see Kyra on an airplane now
Also love the General’s “Paul, would you like to share that with the rest of the class?” look
Aw man that DOES sound awesome! Maybe Kyra can meet with Kay in a plane instead of the boring old mall heh
Turns out the general is a understanding while sarcastic guy! 3 dimensional characters. I start to get used to them thanks to you. ALso I have the feeling that every visible CHaracter might become relevant later on. And I mean EVERY one, (Including canada?)
This Mr Gonfast could turn out to be anything. I am looking forward to see all their doings, and Kyras reaction to it.
I do love me some complicated characters! We’ll see which characters on this page are more than meets the eye as the comic goes along. Even mister Canada? What excitement!
That being said, most of the comic will still be focused on Kyra, her friends, and the people around her. This is just a taste of what’s going on in the outside world when a dinosaur exists. We’ll see how much of it can spill into Kyra’s life.
