Put on your red (black?) shoes and dance the blues (greens? pinks?)

This time there’s no reason for me to get upset that I only got one page done this week – it might be my most ambitious page yet. Well, at the very least it may have taken me the longest! These two are such fun characters so I had to make it right. Heck it even took twice the sketching this time, which is here if that’s something you’re interested in.

And because I knew it would be a hit and I would want to see them completely myself – here’s the four main ones which I did as full drawings just to enjoy them more.  Now to rest before starting on the next pages for the update that are hopefully less intensive.

Seeing as how this is a museum, it can be classified as a performance art piece!

This is barely abnormal compared to taping a banana to a wall ????
Hmm… but I guess you’re only allowed to do art if you schedule it in advance with museum types, though… ????‍♂️

“Kyra,no! Wait!”
By itself sounds like something bad is about to happen.
In the end it becomes clear that it was more like: “Kyra, no! Wait! I have to take out my Kamera first and start filming!”
Just wholesome.

Looking through the performance. It is nice to imagine how the movement would look like. And it works quite well, except maybe the third last panel the second pose. Wobly arms and Spinning Kyra. To fast to even process with human vision.

Is this how they greet each other anywhere? How does their good byes look like? Ah, this makes me look forawrd even more to these two interacting!

Reminds me a lot of Tom & Jerry’s episode “The Zoot Cat.”

Such fabulous dancing hahaha x3

Kyra and Ann reunited – yay! Their dance is drawn so well I can actually hear jazzy swing music in my head. Amazing work, Andrew.
Maybe Paul should just have his camera focused on Kyra at all times. You never know when she’s gonna put on a film-worthy show. (The answer to that is “always”)

To the tune of the The Parent Trap handshake song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AQCTft9FGg
