Oh dear. There may have been trouble brewing, but now it might be boiling over and ruining you tea! Or stew … or spaghetti. I don’t know why you’re boiling water right now, but I suppose reading the comic is a great way to pass the time until it’s hot enough.

If this guy is into fighting animals, he should have known better to chill in the tall grass.
Another running theme, but I quite like Ann’s personality trait of being able to bounce back from bad news like what happened here. Like yeah she has her DOWN moments, but in general I like characters who have mental strength like this. It’s also interesting to explore what these characters’ breaking points are in the face of really devastating moments. It all goes a long way in making them feel like real people.
That aside, Kyra’s expressions in these last two strips are quite top notch; very nicely done.
agreed, Kyra is 200% adorable this arc!
Ann really did bounce back quickly after her art was criticized so harshly and even burned up. But I wonder if new brushes will make any difference with her art. Does she need to rethink her career choices?
Oh Kyra, please beware. What are you getting yourself into?! Probably a pickle of a cucumber. ;)
This is either very good or very bad
