Something is happening. I am worried.
A while back I saw a drawing that I found quite inspired. It was a drawing of someone’s character who was a demiurge, which is some sort of a lizard person with a lion’s head. Whatever it is I found it inspiring. Kyra’s a lonely dinosaur in a world full of humans, so she would be VERY happy to see someone who even REMOTELY looks like her. Drawing turned out well I say.

I have to say, Bill is being completely unreasonable here. Kyra has shown nothing but, at bare minimum, appreciation for humanity. Affection and fascination are her core motivations. If she had any genuine misanthropic tendencies, she’d have acted on them by now. The worst thing she’s done to a person on camera is disarm a grilling psychopath at the age of two.
…Unless there have been off camera incidents? Naaaaaah. She’d never be allowed out of the compound at that rate. They say they can’t contain her against her will. But if she were a genuine, active threat to human life, I’m sure Bill wouldn’t hesitate to “contain” her.

It’s funny, because right after I uploaded it I noticed a drawing error, but it was small enough that I didn’t feel like going back and changing it. Now I can, huzzah!
Finally… Cupcake time?
Also, pretty cute drawing of demiurge, wish there’s some such creatures for Kyra to play with :3
Well, back in the black-and-white days, there was a lamia, a minotaur, and a centaur that Paul and Kyra met at the bar…and apparently there are dragons since that’s what held the latter two up from meeting up with the lamia….
To be fair, they were just LARPing … it just took almost a thousand pages to reveal it, heh
The original ten chapters were in the early experimental phase where I hadn’t quite nailed down the tone of the comic. That’s why I spend all the time setting up the people Paul worked with to not really use them. I already had one work related comic with PLT, no need to spend time on that when there’s a dinosaur.
I’m so proud of usually-pretty-timid Paul for standing up to Bill. He sure cares about Kyra.
Now there’s a scent wafting around them. Well, guess you gotta expect that from a place called “U Smell.”
Aww Kyra’s so excited to meet her new instant friend. And yes, your drawing turned out very well!
