Can’t really blame them for running away cause Kyra’s pretty scary when she’s angry! I really liked her change in color – she looked totally different.
“All you do is fighting and yelling contests which proves who fights and louds the best! But your prize isn’t being correct, it’s being the strongest or the biggest mouth!”
From the mouth of babes.
…those animals learned from the humans … way too well
How do you write Kyra’s dialogue Andrew? Is there some kind of process you go through in taking conventional sentences and warping them? Or do you just have the world’s weirdest thesaurus by your side?
By now it’s from a lot of practice! But it’s a lot of thinking “Why would you say it this way? How else could it unconventionally be said while still meaning the same thing? Also is there an extra word or phrase to throw in to be over descriptive?”
I like how very “train-of-thought” it is. She’ll go off on mini-tangents that seem nonsensical then somehow tie the resulting metaphor back around to her original point. I can relate.
I use to comment far more often but I don’t have internet every day so I read this comic in spurts.
Still awesome, and still in my top five favorite webcomics!
Glad to hear of enjoyment and reader-ing and hope it continues for all!
I think you could get the gist of her whole rant from body language alone.
