Hmm, is it just me or does Paul very seldomly touch or generally try to pet Kyra?
Perhaps Paul being Paul is just afraid to intrude on her personal-space.
I guess she’s also stated humans are oily and stinky.
At the very least he’s certainly come a long way. Remember when Kyra first showed up and he grabbed a kitchen glove because he was so afraid of touching an icky germy lizard? The bigger worry in this instance seems to be less about being afraid to touch someone else, but not knowing how to deal with someone emotional if the first panel indicates anything. Kyra should just hug him, heh.
Maybe it was the smell that made her do it, just a thought.
The shoe fire thing that is.
Aww come on, Paul, if you’re not gonna hug her, at least hand her a kleenex.
At least Paul acknowledged all her statements (“Oh that’s . . . that” haha) and had words of comfort.
