Honestly, most people in real life aren’t smart enough to use self-checkouts without the self-checkout workers assisting them. Given the IQ of people in this comic, I don’t see this working out unless they’re super-duper idiot proof checkouts that scan people and get what they want as soon as they come in.

I am suddenly wondering why he needs the hard hat
A) Safety regulations require workers to be protected at all times when operating machinery
B) Needs to make sure everybody knows that he’s a construction worker of some type
C) The steam is actually coming from his hat because it’s Unusual: Steam effect
Unemployment, here we come.
Now I’m worried about Paul being out of a job . . .
