oh shit, character development from the mystery agent guys
I’m very confused right now.
Happy it wasn’t a TPK, though.
No worries. It’s been almost four years since I made the comic with the answer. It was the mall story – Bill got hit by a truck but was unfazed because the clothes “absorbed the blow” as their clothes are made from “the fanciest of tech-gizmos” https://itsadinosaur.com/comic/dino_592/
Ah. I see now. I thought it might be something along those lines. I’d forgotten how he survived the truck impact.
Still not 100% sure how that managed to save everyone else, but I guess in the long run, “It’s sufficiently advanced science, I ain’t gotta explain crap.” is a sufficient explanation.
He saved everyone else by telling Eon the suits could only withstand a much lower level of impact then they actually could, since Eon didn’t want to kill the agents
Because the agents needed to live, the explosion was intentionally made smaller then it could have been, as Eon didn’t want to risk a larger explosion overwhelming their tech-suits
Now I want to see a character called TPK
Gus’ employment at a top-secret government agency is a very recent thing if he’s still worried about lying.
I guess Eon is fired now.
What if Eon’s technically not an employee of their agency?
Arrested, then.
I’m just glad so many of my favorite characters weren’t blown to smithereens!
