Seriously, though. That sounds like introvert heaven. You, your best friend, and no outside world to bug you and make you miserable.
Of course, it’s far too good to be true. Humans (And Kyrasaurs, I assume) are social creatures who need a range of experiences and struggles to round them out and help them grow. This utopia will sour pretty quickly. Without obstacles to overcome, the brain begins to make it’s own obstacles and self sabatoge in a futile anc counterproductive attempt to gain the stimulation it desperately needs.
Still, the temptation is a strong one. I honestly don’t know if I could resist an offer like this….
Hey, Paul! Invite Eon to live with you instead! That way you’d have a “helpful” AI to help you deal with life, and you don’t have to throw out the good parts of life!
Sign me up!
Oh! Oh! On the screen where Eon is projecting Paul’s old age! Is that the torso of an adult Kyra I see?! Does Eon know what Kyra’s maturation will be like, or is she just guessing? Does she know more about Kyra’s genome then she’s letting on?
Aw man, and some jerk cut off the monitor too!
I noticed too. Kyra’s gonna be taaaaaallllllll!
Notice also in the monitor with the ABCs that Kyra appears to have a feathery body as well.
I’m sorry, “Specialized Scales-y”.
(She actually kinda looks like a Dr. Seuss character).
I think Paul has a plan
Dat response!
Baby Kyra is so cute! Especially when she’s gnawing on that poor chicken’s head.
Sounds like a terrible deal
What made Kyra who she is, and how she grew up, is the experiences of the world around her. If she goes back in the lab, she stagnates like she used to, and’ll get bored even if Paul’s there

Got room for one more, Eon!?
