Okay, here’s the deal.

First of all, I’m sending off my drawing tablet for repairs. That means I will be unable to draw any comics until I get it back again. Unfortunately it could take up to three weeks. I won’t know how long or for how much until they get it and look it over. Now, my ORIGINAL plan was to draw my two regular comics and post one today and the other next week. That way there’d be something to read. However something happened that changed everything.

I was able to make a third page this week.

I actually think the big final Splatfest in Splatoon 2 helped because it made me more efficient at working around the stage rotations. Anyway, I could have used it to be ready with three one page updates for three weeks. However just look at that page! It’s such a wonderfully evil place to take a break and leave you all on a mini cliffhanger! Sorry, but this is way more exciting than being fed single pages over three weeks.

I’ll be sure to let you all know right away when I get it back and can start updating again. If I can think of something fun to post on Monday’s just to have something I will. While I technically have my OLD drawing tablet I replaced it for a reason. Will post updates on twitter and big ones on the website. I’m sorry for the unwanted break but sometimes your art supplies break and you need to fix them before their batteries explode.

That’s wrong, calling them food.

I mean, meat doesn’t last *that* long, and there’s no way she could eat even one human in one go. Most of them are just imminent casualties.

It’s what I spend most of my free time doing, I don’t have any projects prepared like my last big break, and Fire Emblem isn’t even out until Friday! But if I can survive this than hopefully the readers can too. I just want to keep this story moving to get on to the next and all the others!

It will be a hard time without updates on kyra for a while. However that is how it is. What you tweeted sure is making even more sense now. Sending all 3 in at once. Leaving us with such a cliffhanger.

Not that kyra is in any danger. I am more interested to see how this conflict will turn out for the humans, and possibly their perceptions of eachother.

I can’t help it though. I do feel worried about kyra.

She was talking about all the confusing human languages so the “unlike this” is referring more towards her own language which she was speaking at the time. Thus the green text boxes. Hopefully the wait will be bearable as I know I’m probably anxious after a while, heh. Then we can see exactly how much danger she’s in!

You are a very cruel man. I can’t fault your logic, however. This is a perfect cliffhanger.

Mwaa ha ha, can’t have a good story without making people “excited” for the next one!

Seeing on how this is you, people will either comically lose hands or these people will comically be misrepresented by that last panel (as in peaceful or fans of hers)

Kyra will never live down that disarming, even though it only happened once.

I dunno, we did have a time skip so I suppose we don’t know the number of severed limbs she’s added to her collection … gosh I sure hope there aren’t groups of people trying to be scarred more than Bill is.
