I guess it’s time for chapter 51.  Was having a lot of trouble getting it written down at first, but it’s finally getting out of my head and onto the pages.  I’ve even started making the new pages because I know I’m going to be quite busy next weekend.  You know … cause Splatoon 3 will be out at last.

Yes, I am still aware that this website doesn’t work for a lot of people.  I’ve been looking into it and we can’t figure out how to fix it.  Due to the way I set up the site it’s almost impossible to move it somewhere new too.  I don’t feel like rebuilding the whole thing from scratch a forth time, especially if it means loosing the comments again.  I’ll keep puzzling over it.  Disappointed that I can’t keep the few fans there are, let along get new ones.

Anyway, have some art I made from having time off.  We’ve got another clothing prompt, an awkward fast food meme, and some simple images of that marching meme.  Might make more marching ones later.  Drawing can be fun!  So we’ll see some drawn pages next week for an all new chapter hooray!

How suspicious and set-up-ness!

Goodness, I can’t believe there are now fifty (FIFTY!) chapters done of this comic.  It’s less than two weeks short of it’s thirteen (THIRTEEN!!) year anniversary too.  We’re also ten chapters into this second story of Kyra’s life, so we’re a quarter of the way through.  Probably.  At this point I’m assuming it’s going to be forty chapters long like the first baby Kyra story line, but I can always surprise myself.  It took over three and a half years to get this far meaning it’ll take over ten years (TEN YEARS!!!) to get to the end.  That task just gets more and more daunting the older I get.  Hey, like the PLT comics I just finished drawing!

Anyway – I really enjoyed writing and drawing this chapter so I hope you enjoyed reading it.  Kyra and Ann are a blast to work with so I always look forward to their chapters.  Will it be a while until the next?  There are so many fun characters, and it looks like some bigger plots want to show up.

For a chapter called “talented” I had some related things I wanted to do, but instead went into the negative direction. Oh well, maybe another time.  I’m also aware a lot of people can’t even see the comics because the site is broken.  I’m not sure how to fix it either.  I could try putting it up on other host sites as well, or move the site to something more stable.  The latter is pretty daunting though as I just KNOW I’ll break something.

Finally no update for at least next week, as tradition.  We’ll see if I need a little more this time.  I have some stuff that needs doing and, between work being busy and the extra details this chapter needed, I’m pretty tired actually.  That “over ten years to finish” thing is on my mind a lot too.  I obviously need to think of something … but not this week.  This week is for not thinking at all!  Ahhh … refreshing!
