New chapter time! I’m hoping this one will be fun and silly. But things change fast as I’m making it and who knows what will happen! If only all these ideas came sooner.
In other BIG NEWS I finally bought a brand new art tablet to make digital art. While my previous one worked and did a good enough job, it had a lot of quirks and faults. Then Wacom put out the new Cintiq 16 and it was everything I’ve been waiting for. Bigger more beautiful screen, better pen, and a working sleep mode. Huzzah! Now even though it is better I still have to get used to it, so this chapter might look a little different as I get used to it. Or nobody will notice, we shall see! Anyway, because it’s better and I wanted to test it … I made a LOT of fun extra images. We’ve got –
Silly Kyra who looks so cute when she’s not being grumpy, a bunch of leftover drawings for when she needed to be in a dress, Ann with more art tools for more art, and Kyra in an ugly sweater so of course she loves it. I do so desire to make more of these if I can find the time and more encouragement will always help. Either way, next week we’re on with the show …

Oh no the Kyra is going to have her likeness corrupted by a soulless corporation. I think they should let her kill in this case.

All those people thinking about how you couldn’t hurt Kyra because she’s so flexible and agile, when that probably means you could also never hug her if she didn’t want you too.
Which in turn means that if you can hug Kyra under any circumstance, that she wanted to be hugged. Grumpy Kyra could never hide wanting to be hugged. I can see Paul abusing this fact and Kyra getting annoyed about it!
Also congrats on the new tablet. Looking forward to Kyra in all her creative poses!

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if her face isn’t already on local advertisements.
You know when you go to a town where an alleged cryptid is supposed to allegedly live nearby, and the town will be covered in signs and small businesses with that cryptid plastered all over it? “Stay at the sasquatch inn!” “Mothman can’t resist our diner!” I bet small businesses in this town are already using generisized imagery of her.
And I bet it would be difficult to stop them too. As long as they avoid using Kyra’s name, they could claim that they’re depicting her species, not her as an individual. And really, how could they be taken to court? That would mean Kyra would have to sit through looooong boring court proceedings, and I think everyone around her knows that wouldn’t end well.
