A page with a little something of everything – friends, foes, and that dinosaur. Oh hey how about that, I’ve made a thousand color pages of this comic! I suppose that is a lot though after a decade I hope it’s reached that length. Hopefully you’ve enjoyed the first 1K and are as excited as I am for the next 1K. In theory this second arc could go on for much longer than the first simply because I could have Kyra do so much with her human friends. I mean look at all the things happening even before they’ve gotten together today!
I had planned to do, I dunno, something special for hitting this page milestone but wow was it a rough week at work. Some essential equipment is having problems creating extra work for us so I am just exhausted by this point. I started some 1K image ideas and even some Halloween ideas but didn’t have the energy. Luckily at least my schedule is looking good this week so I don’t have to push it as hard just to get the next two pages done. Should finally have some time to doodle and draw extra stuff without burning out as well!
Either way I thank you for reading all this adorable madness I’ve been making and can’
t wait to show you more!

The guard is one of those self-important people that cannot be swayed by facts and evidence. I love all of Ty’s pictures and Kyra showing off outside the 3RD STORY window – that little stinker.

Not I! I just wanted to take the characters I made and tell all the stories. It turns out ALL the stories is a large number which is a good thing.

You’re welcome, and thank you! The comic has had its ups and downs over the years, but this year with the schedule change has been a huge help. I do love these characters and unless I make the pages nobody else will see all the shenanigans they get into that are inside my head! Their adventures must be shared!
How many pages would that be if you counted the ones before the coloring?
1159 pages, and if we count all the chapter pages that’s 1212. I don’t count the chapter pages because they’re just an image and I’m not sure where the B&W ones fit in since they’re so much smaller than the later pages. Either way YAY lots of Kyra!
I think you still deserve credit for those. You did do all the artwork for them yourself, after all. It’s not like you phoned it in on the chapter covers.
I’m trying to recall where the comic was when I first discovered it. I think it was around the time you started coloring them, coincidentally enough. Holy cow have I really been reading this for nearly ten years?!

For the thousandth page, we apparently get Kyra pressing her butt against a window :P
… you know, I wasn’t even going for that. Only the two with her face against the window have the extra dark shadows. The middle Kyra is just supposed to be swinging past. However now I can totally see it and honestly, Kyra would think it was hilarious if she accidentally ruined something like a specific number.
Wow a whole thousand! I’ve been glad to read this for however many years I have, haha. Still sitting pretty at the top of my bookmark toolbar folder thing. Look forward to reading it for more too!

Maybe it would’ve been more convincing (and truer) if he’d said “I know what it’s like to work absurd”
While true, using “scared” goes along with what the guard was saying and the following scene of people being scared.
