What luck! The week I only had time to get one page done, thanks to Thanksgiving, and it was a stand alone page. Actually it’s all been working out quite well, getting the two/three pages done per part finished each Monday. This has been a unique chapter with it being a collection of short stories to catch back up on all our characters again. Hopefully they get done with their tasks soon because even when she’s at her best Kyra still ends up causing some trouble. They just need to get used to it like Paul.
I also love how earlier in the chapter I thought it would be hard to top some of the cute Kyra moments and images. Glad to see I was able to do it. And here it is at 100% so we can all have a new phone background.

Break room chef has seen things
“She better not get upset and throw that skull into my fancy beef stew again”
And here I thought Kyra didn’t like clothes. She looks like she’s enjoying that blouse very much!
Maybe she’s just pleased with herself for dressing up so well that the humans will be less scared of her skull collection … or maybe she’s usually cranky and will never admit that sometimes human clothing isn’t all stupid dumb useless. Either way it sounds like Kyra!
Love Kyra’s slicked back hairdo, her cute outfit, and how pleased she is by them when she looks in the mirror.
“Oh yes,” she thought to herself, “they will find this so adorable they’ll be begging me to see my latest meal’s skeleton!”
Almost like a bonafied human teenager… Almost…
Hopefully there’s not a lot of teenagers out there proudly showing off the skulls of the animals they killed and cleaned by hand.
Back in my day we hauled the body of the grizzly we wrested to death with our bear hands uphill both ways through swarms of venomous snake hawks across lakes of lava to feast on its entrails and adorn our war harnesses with its visage. And we were proud of it! Kids these days mumble grumble…
Hm. I wonder how many of her collection are human, and how many had more than just bone when she found them.
I mean, if you look closely at the end of the first panel on page 988 you can see she has quite a few. Ten years is a lot of time and a lot of meals.
Kyra in a dress! *squee*
I mean *ahem* she’s learned so well, we’re all proud
Yes, she’s learned that if she puts on a swishy piece of cloth people will be more willing to do her bidding, mwaa haha!
Also, “thanks to thanksgiving” LOL
Kyra got behind the alure of apearing cute, even if she is not necessarily liking it herself. And here I thought she could not get any more dangerous!
This tilted head mirror check…. ah I drown in happy feelings. And the washing, the dressing. Who thought I would stare in wonder at the normal day of a (most certainly awesome) dinosaur one day.
Just like when you get a new friend for life ( aka pet) and keep observing it’s every move except this feeling never realy goes away.
Ah I am getting goofy.
A nice page to remind people that she can be sweet and adorable when she feels she has to be … even when doing something not cute at all. What a balance she has to spend her life doing!
Kyra learned the best way to reach people is through their heart. Then she learned about metaphors.
Wait a minute, what happened to Kyra’s back spines? Weren’t they the source of her electromagnetic sense?
Yes, but fear not for they are still there.
You can see them briefly on page 925 when she’s stretching. Then on page 939 when she’s talking to the overenthusiastic museum man –
“They’re under these human silly clothes they say I have to wear to look less savage. With -other- ways, they’re usually hidden between my fluff forming scales.”
