Typo alert: “Breath in the good sunshine”
That should actually be “breathe”, not “breath”. “Breath” is the air you inhale/exhale when you “breathe”.
Maybe it’s an indication that this is not the best school, like “The Pursuit of Happyness.”
Do I get a Kyra No-Prize?
This is what happens when I’m about to post the page and go “oh no I forgot to write silly things in the music department better put the first thing down I can think of!” Dexter and Professor Williams must be so disappointed in me!
I see Kay has a skull collection too.
She has the best supplier in the world!
So if I’m interpreting this correctly, Kay went from disdain of people only being interested in her for her relationship with Kyra, to a general shunning of pretty much everyone. That’s actually pretty sad.
Indeed it is. Hopefully she learns that not everybody is like that … instead of being proven right.

Ahem. I mean…. I really like the progression of this page. Showing things she’s got a genuine reason to be annoyed with, but gradually progressing to things she could reasonably appreciate. Heck, I bet even the Kyraphiles in the second panel are mostly nice people, just going a little overboard.
Yes! I smiled when I saw that. (Was his name “Scratchy”?) Aww at least Kay has one cute, happy thing in her room.
And then there are the skulls for candle holders . . .
The details in the comicpages are one of the many things that makes this comic one of my favorites!
