There we go, a whole bunch of puzzle pieces are finally on the table and we can start to put this puzzle of a story together. I think that one part might be a duck and this pile is of terrain that’s probably the moon. How it’s going to look in the end is going to be strange with that.
I’m quite glad I finally got all the pages I wanted done completed on time this week. I’m excited for how they turned out too and hope you enjoy them too. I’ve been waiting to get to the Ann & Kyra stories and here we go at last. Fun fact, originally I considered having this story before Kay’s. But I needed to spend time showing the process of Kyra going somewhere with a friend and this Ann art story is packed with enough goodness. Keep planning ahead if you ever write stories, it helps a ton!
Also, I couldn’t help but make an edit of the previous page. See you all next week!

Also I love that edit, Kyra in Smash bros is such an amusing thought X3
I’m pretty sure it’s internet law that creators have to spend some time imagining their character’s moves in Smash. Give Kyra some dodges and counters to make her tricky to hit.
Bill has a questionable outlook on art and unproductive things. But hey, if he would be perfect it would be boring! I realy do like how you gave your charakters deeper personalities with flaws and skills.
I love how serious Kyra is about it. The fact that she just shoves a bunch of her art under her clothes does not change that. Thats more what a teen would do I guess. Being aware of the situation at hand but still not quite there to fully grasp the concept of what is a good thing to do.
And then there is the stuff happening in the background. The cleaning of what is left of her supposed meal… Considering the mess it seems like it was alive before Kyra got to prepare her food.
Also,that Edit! When I reached the end of page two of todays update I also thougt, that looks like an invitation to smash bros. Lovely.
Because he’s on “our side” it’s easy to forget that Bill can be an uncaring jerk. Same with Kyra, she can be so impulsive and childish that it’s easy to forget how deep and intelligent she can be. Part of what makes her Kyra I suppose.
I very much liking that Kyra is becoming more conscious about how she and others are being perceived by outside parties, even if she’s still somewhat childish x3
And oh Bill, Bill, Bill… you’re oh so freaking wrong when its come to art. Without it, we wouldn’t be who we are. Have you even read any “Understanding Comic” art books by Scott McCloud? :3
Kyra is intelligent and creative, it just gets undermined by her destructive and immature moments. Of course, I’m sure in her stubbornness she’d just blame the humans for liking stuff too much and being too serious.
And don’t bother reasoning with Bill on this. He’s way more stubborn than Kyra, which it probably a reason why he has the job.

I truly hope Kay has a successful art show and Paul enjoys the day. Hee, can’t wait for Kyra to proudly pull out all of her art to display. But hopefully she won’t divert all attention from Ann’s painting.
