Interesting. Intriguing. Insightful. Other smart sounding I words! I guess we can wrap up this story as it’s obvious as to where it’s going. What’s that? You don’t trust me after all the weird happenings and strange people that have been in the comic before? Excellent! Now let’s hope I do well this time too.
This chapter taking place in an art gallery leads to some inventive (oh there’s another one) background jokes about paintings. It’s tempting to do them all as fast as I can but I need to pace myself. There are plenty more pages to go! And speaking of art, uh … I draw it! And we’ll see more next Monday. I am excited!

H’oh boy, if there’s one thing these people are gonna learn, it’s that Kyra’s a master of subverting expectations for better or worse.

The design of Captain Curlychin here reminds me of someone, but I can’t put my finger on it.
Also, there’s nothing more entertaining then a crowd of people so convinced of their own intelligence that they say and do stupid things.
Haha, I actually felt that way too after designing him. The most stereotypical one of the bunch, but still my favorite! Writing his stuffy bumbling dialog is going to be very fun.
How cute is Kyra with that dragonfly, a fellow mighty hunter.

This gould go any way. We might see Kyra just disproove them. We might see her completly fulfilling their fears… Or we get something very different or in between. Anyway. I am hyped! Read it at monday and forgot to comment till I reread it again and noticed the lack of my comment.
I also see the first 3 panels as example of how the whole world is judging her every move. And not in a constructive way. Kyra has to deal with a lot of hardship even ten years in. I do hope that she gets to live along humans without as much hardship at some point. Who knows where this comic will go. Only one way to find out!
