Oh boy did I wish I had the confidence of Kyra to boldly show my work to other people without worrying about them hating it. But Kyra being fearless is kind of her thing. Also diagrams of body’s and their blood fluids are probably different than webcomics. Either way she may have done it? Is it over? Oh ho time to make more pages for another update at least! Either way don’t draw with blood kids. It’s expensive and not worth it apparently.

Truly a breed of brilliance is on display
Humans: Need art classes, lectures, and deep discussions
Kyra: No I see it plain as day are you blind haha
Kyra 2 in panel 2 does look horrifiying. It reminds me of that vision the women had when she met Kyra at the first day we saw her grown. Except it is a more realistic version.
And finaly the paintings got revealed! Who would have thought that it would end up being better than expected. ( I certainly didn’t.) Also that old man. Even though they have their flaws, the people here are the best so far in terms of reacting to Kyra. It feels more like they accept her around with only some prejudice, which is nice to see. Progress!
It’s easy to forget that Kyra is quite a frightening creature. We just forget about it because we know her and, well, she’s so darn adorable “most” of the time. These people are learning what we know which seems to be working!
I love Kyra’s description of their painting with her fierce face followed by her sweet as pie one. Also Paul (and Ann’s) expressions of delight followed by dread of what surprise Kyra may be about to display.
Thank goodness Kyra brought “actual pieces of artwork of arting” and not “doodles.” Or actual skulls. She has good reasons for not using blood for her artwork. (After obviously experimenting with it.)
(It’s a pretty bad painting actually)
“Kyra, don’t pull your drawings out of your shirt, you have pockets”
“But Ann pulls things out of her–”
“OhLookAtTheTime!”
I actually made a drawing based off this joke, though by this point I’d rather re-draw it than post it. I just want to make sure there’s plenty of Ann’s character in the comic first.
