Oh dear. I promise these stories aren’t going to be all gloom and doom! But the characters need to start low so they have somewhere high to crawl too. Especially when they’re still small like Kyra is. Then again, she can jump quite high. I’m just rambling because there’s not much else to say other than chapter 46 is off to it’s start. What will happen, where will we go, who will show up? I know I’m excited to see where it goes I MEAN I’m sure I have it all planned yes.

It’s so weird seeing Kyra bald again.
Early Kyra is so weird – bald, different face, different art style. What happens with a comic over a decade old I guess. Sometimes I’m not sure how I feel about that, but many amazingly great and long running webcomics have a few awkward years.
When my heart hurts I at least know there’s something still there.
Kyra with that empty expression while holding that lab glove with content. Not sure what to think about that.
The last 3 panels sting, though. Even more so considering that not much seemed to change to the present.
Guess all i can provide is the usual: “Hang in there!”
There is content from a story long, long ago … not sure if it’s better or worse with it though.

Oh that flashback to adorable baby Kyra and her mischief making. Uhm yes, there is a bone protruding from that glove . . ?
Paul seems oblivious or in denial about how sad Kyra gets when she’s alone. Does he honestly think she has good nights full of fun? He should know better than that.
Kyra is now floofy enough to hide her spines!
And is very capable of inflicting the sad on readers.

No one stays there with her overnight? That’s so sad.
I would have expected Paul to stay with her at least.
She’s not completely alone, as they mentioned there’s guards posted all night.
As for Paul, well … there’s still a lot unsaid about his whereabouts at all times …
Hmm . . . hopefully someday we will learn more about Paul and his unknown whereabouts.
