Man, poor Kyra. She’s really, really good at eviscerating, and is stuck in a society where eviscerations are generally frowned upon.
Good job on this chapter! But just as for Kyra, you’ve wet my appetite for seeing her go all out on something/someone. Who knows what the future has in store though! Look forward to more.
The phrase you are looking for is “whet my appetite”. “Whet” means “to sharpen” (for instance a whetstone is a tool used to sharpen blades).
Could really see Kyra’s frustration growing in the first panel. Hope she felt a bit better after letting it out like that!
Love how Ann is totally confident that Kyra has her back and would never let any bad guys harm her.
