By “trash” are we talking about random things left in the yard or literal trash? Because if it is the former then the loud music is of greater concern because it isn’t limited to his yard. I mean you don’t exactly consult your neighbours on what colour you are going to repaint your house in, so what condition you keep your house and yard in should be your choice. Though if it is literal trash then the smell should be a justifiable concern.
