I dunno, that plotting seemed pretty blatant to me.
Ah, well, hopefully it doesn’t sour the upcoming madness that’s obviously coming!
The kids have gone from, “Kyra you’re too little; you might get hurt,” to “Kyra you’re too excitable and rough; you might hurt us!” Yep, that seems about right.
And then we get a glimpse of Kyra’s scary side (look at those eyes!) and what she’s really thinking!
Kyra picturing herself at least eight feet tall and winning ALL the sports. All of them! At the same time!
Also, I can’t tell how much of Ann’s hesitancy is from actually not wanting to do athletic stuff, and how much is from how painful running with that chest would be (I’m spared this fate, but I’ve heard from friends that it *sucks*).
