I thought it would be Kyra’s clone or counterpart who chopped off his hand.
Then again, this chapter is called TECHNOLOGY. Kyra is good at handling or taking apart technology, so she need to do rescuing now!
Command “Dang it” not recognized
So, going off the previous page and this one… If I’m reading this correctly… Bill & Gus (the agency) don’t actually care that Kyra is out and about. What they care about is her existence being discovered by the masses. And all those times they showed up after she cause trouble at places was just making sure that none of the people involved in those situations witnessed anything. The most recent situation involving the agency was the chickens at the zoo but that was solely Eon and right here it doesn’t look like’s she’s one for following protocol, so maybe that wasn’t planned.
Or maybe they specifically said they were looking for her and I’ve just forgotten because the last page with Bill/Gus was months/years ago.
If this is the kind of vehicle they send out on a “rescue operation”, I’d hate to see what they bring for a “demolish all infrastructure and take no prisoners, all the lethal force is authorized operation”.
I still love this comic, but this storyline made me hate Kyra. How sad!
