I’m a little disappointed that’s all Kyra had to do to escape. I thought it’d be a little more involved than that.
Actually I’m cool with it. This does fit with the previous revelation that Kyra claiming that she had used her feathers to escape.
What about mailing herself? Well, with the sensors distracted, she can just find a box and package up herself and let the sensors detect it, pick it up, and mail it away. At least that’s what I think.
And no, she can’t escape the lab first because she never seen outside yet before meeting with Paul.
Obviously the feathers played a role. This just feels a little anticlimactic to me. Like having a heist movie hyped up, only to find out the big safe of the evil mastermind had its combination taped to the ceiling the whole time. It makes sense, it’s just not that exciting.
Honestly, I think nothing Andrew could have come up with would have lived up to the high expectations that our imaginations provided us. Same reason why horror movies always try to show as little of the monster as possible, because our imaginations will make something scarier than anything the creature designers ever could.
Either way, there’s more story to come to make it more interesting or more confusing. What joy!
Interesting, confusing, joyful – it’s all good!
plucking your own feathers? Ow that must have hurt
