There’s that lovable Kyra with her new lovable … head style I guess you call it. And there’s the average TWO page update I’ve been assuming I’d be getting. I can see that I can easily get two a week as well as a head start on the next update, increasing the chances for more pages. However last week had a Splatoon 2 update, new Smash Bros character, and Wargroove finally came out. So, uh, that’s all stuff that happens too! I have some extra time the next two weeks which is good for new pages! See you next Monday and if they can ever get Kyra to her visit things.

You know, “leason” it’s the word you use when writing “least one” but start writing it too soon. Fixed XD
Is he asking her to put clothes on? Because I feel like it would be terribly uncomfortable to wear clothes on top of feathers.
I bet you’re right! She’s also made fun of human clothes in the past too. They better have a good reason for this nonsense.

Her tail does not fit in the pants. Human pants are silly, they have a hole for a tail but it is always too small for a tail!
We’ll (hopefully) have some answers by the end of this chapter. I feel like Kyra’s vocabulary will continue to grow, but actually putting it together the “right” way will always be hard – either because of the way she forms her own language’s sentences or because lazy.
Kyra’s feathair style looks oddly familiar somehow. I can’t put my finger on in it….

I’m sure Kyra would agree and say the whole thing is a joke, then wonder what a joke really is. Then she’d get distracted and try to see how many rocks she can throw onto the roof.

Hey, what’s the deal with Kyra’s electroreceptor back spikes? sometimes there visible, sometimes they’re not. Do they fold down against her body or something?

When she was little in the previous series I honestly drew them whenever it worked best, especially once the feathers started showing up. It’s a balance to make sure the design doesn’t get too busy. As it is now you can see them a few pages back

I’ll get into it more later in this chapter, but they’re still there. The spikes are buried in feathers now so we’ll probably only see them for a cool dramatic moment.
I really like her design, with the non-feathered hands and feet and floofy body. Well one, well done!
Kyra is also pleased she didn’t turn out goofy looking so far. Take THAT awkward teenage humans!
Love how Paul reasons with/bribes Kyra, especially in the 6th panel – she’s just like a little kid. Or a teenager.
Well she’s only twelve at best, so technically not a teenager yet.
Also I realized that Paul has to be at least 36 now, assuming the minimal hiring age for his store is 16. Dang, he’s actually older than me now, that’s super weird to me.
Ah, but are human years the same as Kyra years? Does she get to her juvenile stage sooner or later than us? Is Ty the only one who knows? Are we going to get depressed comparing our ages to the characters? That one is a yes for me haha XD
Can we take that as a confirmation that Ty is on the team in some capacity? :P
Perhaps in some capacity! We’ll get to that eventually, lots of stuff to cover over the next several chapters heh. One thing for sure is that Ty isn’t going to be there on Mondays if Paul’s bottom right sticky note is to believed.
