Kyra sure seems upset about something. I guess we’ll find out more next week!
Sometimes I get disappointed that I’m still only getting two pages done a week. At first I thought I could get ahead seeing as I’m more efficient in making pages. But then when you really think about it, cutting an hour or so per page isn’t THAT much time. Part of me wonders if just going back to Mon/Thurs updates would still work if I just kept ahead this time. But then again, only needing to come by once a week for double Kyra is quite nice! I’m still liking this way indeed.

Well then. Now I’m dying to know the story behind this one.
Is Kyra opposed to creating “fake” experiences? A case of once bitten twice shy? She knows she’ll be unable to make the art she really wants? She disagrees with their political stances?
So exciting!
“I didn’t like his tie.”
“Kyra … why do you care about that?”
“I don’t! He didn’t make an effort to get me to though, that’s the problem!”

Much less adorable to imagine it coming from a human 13 year old, though.
I can’t decide if it’s better or worse that she’s self aware of this tantrum. I suppose it makes it easier to yell at her about it.
Her self-awareness makes me assume that she learned this behaviour from her child friends.
Well, teen friends now.
Huh so she might not want her beautiful singing voice to be recorded? I get it if she valued her privacy by believing that her voice getting captured and used and manipulated by untrustworthy parties.
Then again, it might be something more simple or wild than that. That’s Kyra for you :3
Well now I feel like I need to work in a flashback where Kyra’s afraid of her voice literally being captured and is too afraid to do it … but it turns out she’s just messing with them.
Is she doing the Carlton dance?
I’m sure whatever she’s doing is far more graceful than that.
Although, to be fair, it would not be unusual.
I’m guessing she has discovered just how tedious is can be to record things. Unending retakes, trying not to flub the take and hoping to get juuuuuust the right performance.
Or maybe she’s just not keen on doing a cover of Ed Sheeran’s latest. Again.
Grumpy Gus sure turned on the smiles, charm and flattery for Kyra – I don’t trust him.
Gus isn’t grumpy, unless he hasn’t had breakfast I suppose.
