Two more pages of Kyra doing Kyra things which makes me quite happy. I spent more time sketching out this whole chapter than I normally do and it’s really helped. I should be more prepared every time, wow! I must say I also enjoyed all the comments and discussions last week too. None of my coworkers or IRL friends read my comics so I take what I can get, heh. I’d say I’m excited for next week’s pages but I usually am anyway. Plus this is all stuff I’ve been preparing for a few years so it’s nice to get to all these landmark events at last.

I wouldn’t normally mention a sketchbook doodle, but this happened two weeks ago after I saw the title page for this chapter…

Will the troublings come to fruition? Or will a plot twist put a stop to the bored shenanigans with twisty unexpected shenanigans? I guess I’ve already placed my bet / hope / expectation.
Oh the things that will happen with the people involved. Kyra would try to mess with Bill’s phone too. On one had she’s super sneaky and could get it when you least expect it. But on the other Bill knows she’s “borrowed” Paul’s before and would glue it to his hand or something extreme.

Sketching out a page involves a lot of revisions but that chair picture looked so unique from the first sketch I was all “that it needs to look just like that” She’s a dinosaur that just loves to do things.

I’m torn . . . I’d love to see more Kyra mischief but I’d also love to see her spending time with friends that we’ve missed. And how heartbreaking if would it be if all of them are too busy when she has a free day.
Krya, that IS a good joke! (though I do want to see Kyra just walking down the street trying to interact with people) Paul just has no sense of humor
and Paul, you shouldn’t have told Kyra how to freak out the new people, that’s like asking her to do it
With how much she is giving away how awesome it would be to have fun with her friends, I somehow get the feeling that they may be too busy with other stuff….
And the guards thinking they are safe.. is actualy quite dangerous. They could think that she broke out for whatever reason. It would scare them to death wich kyra will find reasonable I would guess, However that is not always what she wants to achieve.
And of all the things people have mentioned here I agree with. (Like panel 7 being adorably great.)

Kyra is starting to develope human humour it seems.
Don’t worry, it’s the new workers in Paul’s area that think they’re safe from Kyra. Little do they know Kyra can come and go as she pleases and you can’t physically stop her, oh no! Luckily she seems kind enough to not take it too far.
I don’t know if Kyra will ever understand human humor, but she thinks she knows how it’s supposed to work? Probably leads to problems, of course.
