It’s just not a true time skip unless some characters drastically change their hair. I’m sorry but it’s the rules apparently. Also it’s only been one page but the angry little bean is a great character.

Jill must have a PHD in raising a teenager. Top of the class. Shes nailing it perfectly.
Maybe that’s why Jill’s grumpy all the time, she’s using up all the good vibes on Kay.

I like Jill’s hair. Sweet little Kay is now grumpy, possibly bullied at school, angsty teen-aged Kay. But Jill is dealing with her really well. Quite the contrast between her and Charles.

I’d say “I don’t know what vegetarians normally eat for breakfast” but I barely know what non-vegetarians eat because I’m never hungry in the morning myself hehe
Oatmeal, pancakes, and bran muffins are always a good symbol for breakfast (you know, the stuff that used to appear on the back of cereal boxes that said part of a wholesome breakfast)
Personally, I’ve been partial to toast since watching Sailor Moon when I was 6

I could see this boy becoming my archnemesis if I would ever have to spent more than 5 minutes with him. Bless bea and Ty for staying mostly as sane as before for enduring him so well.
And Jill seems to handle her situation quite well too. Must take a lot to get such a kid to not look as grumpy as in the first panel of appearance. Honestly it would tear my face trying to frown like that. Ignoring the previous panels she could be a standard teen in the last panel.
I do wonder how Kay turned into this type of person, considering she was friends with Kyra.
