Here we go, chapter 45! It’s time to start off another story with some nice flashbacks. Kyra, Paul, and Ann are talking about drawing and not drawing! Look at them go! Can you believe this is the first time I’ve drawn Paul talking to Ann? Yeah, I realized after the first story arc was done that these two never interacted because it never came up. Well this time all the characters will get their chances to mix and match because there’s so much potential for trouble when you add a dinosaur.
Flashback pages are fun because they have a simpler style to give them this dream like memory look. I sometimes have a tendency to try and put too much into a panel with the weird idea that “more detail” means “better.” So believe me when I say trying to hold back on these pages is a challenge, heh. We’ve got some more flashback pages coming up for that delicious setup and character building. This week my work schedule is a bit overloaded so there’s a chance there might only be one page. We shall see! I do so love these three characters so I’m excited to keep this story moving.

Too many excuses, Paul, just draw something already. I would love to see some of your comics.
I never realized that Paul and Ann hadn’t interacted with each other before.
I believe he has no motivations to do these kind of drawings anymore since it haven’t gotten him anywhere with it. At least he’s happier unleashing his creativity through photography and videography with Kyra as well as some office works handling her needs.
How quickly Paul forgets his audience’s age
He should know that most everybody wants more unicorns and/or blood!
I am definetly the type who wants both. ( It just occured to be that I am reading both a comic about a unicorn and a bloodflooded comic about yet another dinosaur at the same time and this profiling fits me just perfectly due to that)
More small Kyra. Oh, life passes so swiftly. It feels like it was yesterday when I first encountered this comic and thus, her. Tbh I forgot when i started reading this. All I know is that I picked it up and it took like a few days, not even a week, to the moment when teenage Kyra was about to be revealed and it was exciting as Kyra.
But when is it not. Honestly. Could you think about Kyra getting so used in your every day life that it becomes normal to you? I doubt Kyra would let that happen, but still.
If we keep the Idea of the previous Chapter. We will get to see a moment from the past that may or may not have been lifechanging for ann and which led to her todays version, where we get to see why it was important to the recent events happening. I also expect it to have something to do with paint. Not sure, tough ;)
That was some good timing to start reading the comic! Not only did you get to read the whole first story arc in one go but you didn’t have to wait five months for the second story arc to start. And it’s funny because at the start on page 923 Paul says exactly that, working with Kyra the dinosaur IS exciting!
