Don’t worry, it’s something every comic maker thinks about even in the middle of a comic. Yes yes quite common.
I would really, really miss Kyra and all her friends and adventures if – gulp – this comic ever ended. :(
You can rest easy? at night knowing if you ever thought nobody cared we’d have to try burning your house down with a combustible lemon to show how much we do :<
Oh I know and appreciate it every night. Still at lot of work though with probably another ten years ahead of it!

That’s exactly what happened
Yes, “Ham Sandwich, now available wherever records are sold” is art, deal with it
I often think “I wish I could animate so I could have Kyra do all the complicated and beautiful dances I picture her doing in my head”
But that also goes for the dumb ham-sam-wich grooving moments too!
Aww look at those artists’ little faces light up when “they” (possibly) are being praised.
That’s what Paul badly needs – friends and fans cheering him on. His comic has certainly been on his mind a LOT lately. I bet he does have fans waiting for new stuff. He needs to start that back up again now!
Ooh Kyra sure got their attention at the end with her square brush talk.
An apparently former artist surrounded by the top artists and art critics has got Paul nervous talking.
That realisation that Kyra indeed grasped the picture, but she just doesn’t care about that aspect and goes on with something she enjoys. <- Last Panel
Also I start to believe that the lower middle guy talking to paul is more important than we think. He might even be the one inviting Kyra with Ann?
And Ann is being included with the artists. Cute.
And to take this moment as a wave with the pole. Andrew. I Love your comic. Seldom do I read webcomics. In fact there are only 3 so far I keep coming back for, and this one was the first and the one that made me look for others. Binge reading through 9 Years of joy(and now patiently waiting for updates), I would not have thought anything could rehabilitate monday as worst day of the week, but here I am looking forward to every monday with a new page. Thank you for sharing your awesome Story and charakters with us!
Goodness, thank you for the kind words! Behind the scenes stuff isn’t something I want to worry people about, but having a few people showing up every Monday to enjoy it helps a lot! I hope it can continue to be entertaining!
“Crowning achievements”?
I mean, if this was a serious museum they would have the little plaques. Can you even *have* a proper museum without the little plaques? How else would you know all that juicy metadata like the title, or the background of the artist / piece?
To be fair it’s less of a museum and more of an art gallery and sale. But after thinking about it, I’ll conclude that this place doesn’t NEED plaques as you should be smart and sophisticated enough to know what they all are going in.
