My favorite part is Kyra’s expressions. She looks so shocked, and I don’t know if it’s because she’s surprised to see Paul stand up for himself or because she’s amazed he succeeded.
Yeah i loved these little detail that shape and inform those characters consistently for all these years. Kyra is indeed shocked because she has tried time after time to demand Eon to tell her all she wants to know without any significant success.
And to see Paul succeed by not only asserting himself as equal to Eon And in turn, announcing that he’s firmly for Kyra, by everyone’s rights, to know exactly everything there is to know about her and her kind.
So yeah, she’s and i was shocked that he won with logic once again.
And holy smoke, after 6 years of reading, Kara’s backstory is coming up! Gaahhhh! I can’t tell if it would be uplifting or depressing! Oh gawd, my beating heart can’t wait for Thursday… Gaahhhh !!!
Paul is so good at reasoning with Eon – go Paul! We want to hear Kyra’s story too.
