Oh that’s it, the first new chapter is done! I feel like it went so fast but I suppose it’s been four months. Three chapters a year? Oh man I can’t wait! Speaking of waiting, I haven’t decided when to start the next chapter. Maybe I’ll do the chapter title next week and start the pages after that. That might be good.
It’s been quite the learning experience working on the second book/story arc/whatever so far. There’s also been a lot of NEW things. New update schedule, which I have been enjoying very much. New drawing program, which has been exciting – just look at how different the first pages of this chapter are compared to the last ones. And new character designs, which I’ll continue to adjust as I get better at them – Kyra’s head feathers have proven harder to draw than expected, heh. I hope you’re enjoying it with me as I continue to grow and learn as the characters do so themselves in whatever this post-dinosaur world looks like.

Finally after just over a month of reading from the archive, I’m all caught up! This comic is stellar and I’m so happy I found it on reddit.
Looking forward to the next chapter, and loving what you’ve done with all these characters so far! Keep up the good work, Andrew.
I should re-read it myself one of these days. You never know when you find something you forgot about haha. Glad you’re enjoying it and looking forward towards more as I’ve got some … interesting things planned.

Heh, when you actually say “nine years from now” out loud it really puts it into perspective. But such is how to goes to tell enough Kyra stories that she deserves.
In Kyra’s world, you can never have too many friends. Love this first new chapter and Kyra the Easter dino – she’s got the hop down for sure!

Not at all what I was expecting but loved it still! Tried it out and it actually plays as a level too, something a lot of those art stages can’t. Thank you, I shall add it to my list of favorite custom stages XD
I saw your comment about fighting for Kyra’s amusement, and the first thing that went through my head was “Kyra wouldn’t want to just WATCH a fight, she’d want to participate!” which was followed by “I wonder what Kyra would do if she ever witnessed an actual wrestling match”, and now I have this image in my mind of Kyra barging into a wrestling ring in a full luchador get-up and it’s the greatest thing ever.

I get the feeling that variations of this conversations happen on a fairly regular basis. XD
I wonder if the Senator mentioned here has any relation to the panicking politician we see on page 915. Perhaps a rival who wants to use Kyra to make him look bad.
