For a brief moment I thought about cutting this page because Jay-Joe just falling over in the previous page and accomplishing nothing was quite funny to me. I had to leave it in though because it was too awesome not too. Although I briefly reconsidered after I realized I had Kyra pivoting on the wrong foot in the 8th and 9th panel and had to do a bunch of editing. Worth it in the end for max Kyra awesome!

Bill seems to be practicing bull… billet time in that third panel there. He definitely has the look to stop a Smith.
Bill probably idolizes agent Smith, the way he keeps so calm and cool headed through everything. Of course, now that I think about it, Bill doesn’t seem like the person to watch movies. He’s totally the type of person to use the line from Kate Beaton comic – “I had fun once. It was awful.”
You get extra cool points for dropping Kate Beaton’s name instead of Grumpycat.
Many of the best memes originated from webcomics. With the mass theft of KC Green’s “this is fine” dog people are finally starting to take more action against those who steal stuff just because they assume that if it’s a meme than it’s free.

I am soo glad you did not cut this page. Jay Joe being a destruction genious all along is a twist that i did not expect, but sure is a welcome one.
Bill casualy dodging the living projectile is exactly the bill moments I wanted to see. Did not expect them to return so soon.
And panels 5-10 by themself are pure perfection. Bill looking menacing to the treat, Kyra jumping in with this happy surprise face right in front of him. Then this incredible pose with her cheeky grin. I would know I failed life if it would be for me. I would not be mad at all because she is looking so awesome doing it, though.
Then leading into an awesome tailkick. ( Those must carry a punch now with her size!) Which is seen in the next panel with Jay Joe bouncing to a land far far away.
And finaly Kyra giving the dispointed daughter, because her father wasn’t watching her doing all this cool stuff. (Shame on you, Paul!)
summary: What a great page! It definetly is max Kyra awesome.
Note that less awesome pages complete pages like this. Stories need ups and downs and so far I am pleased with the pacing of this story. That is, they 10 Years worth of Story.

Thanks! I’m glad this page turned out well seeing how many times I had to redo it, heh. Normally I sketch out the whole page before drawing it but this one took two layers of sketching to get it right … then a third when I realized I made a mistake, heh And Kyra may be rather small but it’s all solid muscle for running and fighting. Using Jay-Joe’s momentum against him probably helped too.
Fun fact, in the first live action Kyra picture you can see me still working on this comic page. The Kyra in the bottom left has her tail pointing the wrong way because I hadn’t redrawn it yet. Oh such fun!
