Every time I look at Kyra’s head thrown back in the 8th panel, I hear the roar from the T-Rex in Jurassic Park.
Except she’s smaller, so it probably wouldn’t be as booming but more adorable.
Since we now have an official description of kyra’s voice, i’m imagining that sounds like a cat meowing over a scale model propeller plane
*probably* wouldn’t be booming, you can always still believe what you want. Plus she can make all sorts of different sounds depending on her mood. But I’m sure that’s something I’ll bring up again in the comic at some point. RAR
Oh, I can relate so much with Kyra here. Just stretching leading to more stretching until I bend in shapes that should be realy unhealthy when held for too long.
That plurp though. The face is saying morning as much as it is saying :p
But wow that shake awake surely is unique. Or is it? Maybe someone should copy it and test if it makes one awake and I guess that person to test it would be me.
Apreciating all the poses we get to see Kyra do here.
The shake is less about waking up and more rearranging the feathers. Not sure how well it would work on a human. Certainly be a unique way to wake up! And yes, drawing extra Kyra is extra fun.
I had a teacher with frizzled hair (black hair, i swear!) and she’d do that to tame her hair
Procedure was: bend over, shake hair, throw head back, hold down with hand, smile at the audience
