Just another day for the Asarus family! What a lively bunch they are. The only thing full of more energy is myself apparently. I wasn’t planning on having triple pages for the third time in this chapter but here we are! I’m assuming it’l get back to the regular two page Monday’s again but I have been rather inspired lately. I’ve just been so excited to get back to these characters! Being ahead and having most of the chapter pre-planed has been a big help too. Certainly I’m not just overworking myself? Eh, as long as you’re enjoying it as much as I am so shall it be. Maybe spend some time on Halloween drawings could be fun too? We shall see next week!

Heh the one I’m looking forward to the most is seeing how Kyra interact with Ann and Kay, how they’re like together at the same maturation in life development. Unabashed optimism of Ann and gloomy pessimism of Kay fit well with Kyra.
Agreed, some good times coming in good time. The hardest part is picking which stories involving which characters to be first!
You can certainly see Bea’s influence in Luna here, with a smidgen of Kyra in there as well. She seems to be a bit of an overachiever, though, I hope that doesn’t cause her too much stress later in life.
The son definitely takes more after his father, reminding me a lot of how Ty would behave when hanging out with his buddies during the college days. Except, y’know, way more hyper due to youth.
I’m having trouble pinpointing their ages though. At first I thought Luna was like nine-ish, but she doesn’t look THAT much older than her brother, who is apparently not even in school yet, so he’s like four? He seems kind of tall for his age but I guess I might just not know any four year olds to compare him to, hmm.
Ty said they haven’t slept in about five years, so Charles’s age is around there (implying that Luna was a good child and let them have their sleep). They seem to be in the middle of a school year (as that’s where Kay and Luna are headed off to) so Charles is probably just waiting for the fall to finally start himself. I ran out of room on that page to bring it up so maybe later.
As for Luna, yeah I’m aiming for 9ish. She obviously can’t be ten, so 8-9 will have to do. She’s old enough to get into some advance classes or something apparently. You know, important stuff for the story!
Luna seems so calm and mature for her age. And nothing seems to phase happy go lucky Charles at all.
Apreciating beas first pose. Realy catching her charakter there. Then there is panel 3 which is bea in all her derpy glory.
And man Ty, I am watching the thing over and over again and I have yet to find what you did wrong :P
Technically Ty did nothing wrong. However his second born may have ruined the chair moments before …
He did? I did not expect that a chair was ruined from just sitting on it, even if it was all natura. He IS younger so checking it might be a good call, though.
